What kinds of skin changes happen during pregnancy?

Pemphigoid gestationis is an autoimmune condition that triggers a red, itchy rash similar to hives. This condition can progress to cause fluid-filled blisters. Pemphigoid gestationis usually occurs in the third trimester and is less common than PUPPP or prurigo of pregnancy.
